Celebrating the life of Jesse Stanger

A few things about the day....

Dress code: anything but black!

The venue has a capacity of 150, so please RSVP ahead of time if you are attending and wanting to come to the wake afterwards. There is ample space outside around the Temple for people to gather and watch the live stream on their devices if the venue reaches capacity. We also ask that you RSVP for the live stream to receive the details.

Jesse said: “I don’t want to force anyone to do a speech if they don’t feel like it. I would like to have time allocated for an ‘open mic’ for those who wish to get up and talk”. So if you wish to come up and share amongst Jesse’s community, you are welcome to. Keeping in mind we will have a couple of minutes per person. We will also ask those who come up if they can read one of the many quotes that resonated with Jesse, we’ll have these available on the day.

Jesse connected with the purity of fire and will be cremated following the service. His wish was that all your thoughts, feelings and memories be cremated with him so that they are together forever. You may like to write something ahead of time and bring with you or you can write on one of the cards that will be provided on the day. You will be invited to place this on Jesse’s coffin during the service. If you are not able to attend and would like to send a note, please email them to ben@sydneyfunerals.com so we can print and place with Jesse on your behalf.

The Wake

Following the service you are invited to join everyone at “Gallon” from 2:30pm, 117 Harris St, Pyrmont. Please include this in your RSVP if you are attending.
